Because they have
Verbatim (MKM media) DVD+R DL media 20-packs for $45

I'd like to get one of these, but I'm not a member.
And before somebody says "join", that would cost $30+

Probably not RIGHT NOW as I'm a bit broke, but sometime in the next 4-8 weeks I may want to do this. Just seeing who may be able to help out here.

Also thought I'd post to let everybody know about the awesome prices.

I am a member, thier prices are very good...they have some great deals on Fuji and Verbatim media. Not all but some Circuit City's will pricematch Sam's Club prices....combine that with any rebates and you can get some good deals on media, dvd drives or hard drives.

Last week when I was at Wal-Mart, they gave me two one-day passes for Sam's Club - add 10% to their prices. So you might want to check out your local Wal-Mart to see if they're giving out those passes, too. I want to see what the store is like before I buy a membership (I already have Costco and BJs), but the closest Sam's Club doesn't open for another couple of weeks - when I plan to use those passes. :>

I'm a member LS, so just let me know when you want them and I'll check if they have them here.
