I still have my original sears betavision vcr, it was the top of the line when purchased, it is stero, 4 head, the wired remote even has a variable speed slow motion, pause, this machine was way ahead of it's time.
If anyone is interested.

What is your asking price on this unit?
What is its condition?
How well does it play Beta tapes?
When's the last time you used it? (When was it tested last?)

Thanks.

Had not really settled on a price, hoping someone would make an offer.

I think the picture is very good and excellent from when it was made, plays well on the 55" lcd.

It's been over a year and not more than two and it worked perfect then, watched some old tapes and they looked good on the 55" LCD.

I put it up here just to see if there was any demand, when I bought it (had to be around the early 80's) I had a 2 head Beta (I believe cost me somewhere between $300-$400) and the traded mine and something else for this unit (the owner told me this was around $1200 or so) I don't remember exact numbers, but he wanted something of mine...I am pretty sure this was out before the 4 head vhs and with the features like the variable slow-mo it was a nice unit, I used it for years and don't remember it ever needing service. I am going to pull it out soon and start recording some of the beta stuff on to dvd, that's the whole reason for all this, no one in my town would copy beta to dvd except for big $$ and to clean/enhance "some maybe" wanted big $$ per hour.

Hope this kinda answers your questions, if not let me know.
