Yep, confirmed.
This has been happening a lot this year. Last time it was an Apache exploit, I believe. The time before that it was an ad software exploit.
This time was an OpenX exploit again, the ad serving software. The site was using an outdated version that had known exploits. An update was released 3+ months ago, but was not yet in use on the site. Baldrick has updated it now. However I'm still getting warnings from Firefox. The errors are gone in Seamonkey.
Also...
- IE users would just get infected.
- Firefox and Chrome users receive the warnings. That includes other Mozilla browsers, such as Seamonkey and Pale Moon, too.
- Not sure what happens on Safari.
Another good reason to dump IE and move to a safer and more modern browser.
