While many of us try to reduce or eliminate picture problems inherent in VHS tapes, YouTube is doing the opposite:

I wonder if this will be something that we'll be seeing producers and directors want one whenever they have a scene that involves someone viewing a family movie within the movie or TV show watches it on VHS (kind of like how footage gets film grain and tears when the directors want the film look).

We spent thousands of dollars to make tapes look better. I find stuff like this to be incredibly stupid.
It's already annoying that camera shake is a "style" of photography. I get seasick trying to wach some of that schlock.
