Hi Thomas,
I've actually heard of them offline. When we were in Nashville, their name came up. Not good or bad, just as "an option" (that we passed on). They use a small DC in Chattanooga: VPNtranet. I think that they're a local-only type of hosting company, focusing only on Middle Tennessee (and especially religious organizations, from the looks of things), and we generally review hosts that have worldwide audience.
No idea about their support. Is it local, or outsourced? That’s a biggie.
- Price-wise, they seem competitive to popular hosts like Stablehost,
Siteground,
InMotion, and others.
- They have streaming services like
Stream101.
- Domain pricing is on par with
Namecheap. (But I'd NEVER register a domain with a host!)
- The site looks nice, using a Bootstrap template (probably from
ThemeForest).
- Uses valid WHMCS.
- Stats reveal transparency.
- KB is populated.
- Minimal blog activity, but enough to know they're alive.
^ This isn't a review, but signs that a review would probably be a positive one. They're not fly-by-night or kiddie. Support is the only unknown.
I am amused at the hardware and "redundancy" comments. We deal with enterprise hosts all the time. What they have is NOT redundancy, and they're NOT using anything but standard hardware (though I'll concede it is good standard hardware).
Unknown if they resell, lease or colo their servers.
It's nice to see other family-owned businesses.
If they ever wanted to be reviewed, they'd need to contact us.
