I'm not sure that this is the right place for the question, but i guess it is

I have a 1:13:05 hours wav audio and I want to make it a 1:13:08 mp2 to fit the video.

How can i do it?

Use the rule of three as followed

1:13:05 are 73 mins and 05 seconds

73x60=4380 seconds plus 05 seconds are 4385 seconds!!!

1:13:08 therefore are 4388 seconds

NOW: if ...

4385 = source framerate (lets assume 25 fps!)

then

4388 = ?

And here you got me as I don't know that rule of three formula right now

And therefore the result would be the new framerate where the sound should be converted to.

And this will be done afterwards using besweets OTA options below left.

Mux your video and audio with BBMpeg, with start seconds and end seconds, to be a total of 1:13:05 (in seconds).
So set the start seconds to 0 and end seconds to 4388.

Two opportunities:

1. He meant just "cutting" and therefor I'll end up like this :banghead:

2. Or he really wants to "scale" the audio?

I ment scale.

I tried to change the frame rate using besweets OTA options, but the change is too small for it.
when i calculated the exact framerate it didn't change anything. then I rased the number (every time a bit) and when I got a change it was 3 minutes!!!

The question : WHY ARE THE LENGTHS DIFFERENT ?

You try to slow down the audio where your problem is perhaps to speed up the video !

I realy don't know.
I demuxed an old mpeg that I want to encode again.
I encoded the video and found out it was longer then the audio.
I tried everything I know to adjust the audio but failed.

Okay, in this case : do not demux. Let tmpgenc encode both audio and video together and you can be sure that all will be in synch.

Because as you already saw, the difference you have to apply is so small that the tools do not manage to apply it (surely a matter of rounded decimals).
