If I encode AC3's to WAV's in Dolby Pro-Logic II using HeadAC3he, AudioDub these into my script using WavSource then use the script to split the movie (using Trim), then extract each half of the movie's WAV and encode these to MP2 in Stereo, will it preserve the DPL2 encoding?

Yes. Just think to encode your mp2 in "surround2"

Thx for the reply.. I actually figured this one out before you got to it through experimentation =)

I encoded the AC3 to WAV using HeadAC3he, surround2 for the downmix.. I AudioDub'd this into my AVS..

I then split the movie using my AVS script, extracted the WAV's for each half, and encoded each WAV to MP2 in HeadAC3he again using Stereo for the downmix and Stereo for the Channel Mode for the MP2.. result was flawless =) Perfect DPL2 encoding preserved.
