I know you can fit almost 800mb on a cd, and I made two almost identical ksvcd's but they one is acting up in nero
ok. the fist one has the audio setting at 128 stereo and is 698 mb as a file and 605mb on cd.
the second's audio is 224 stereo, and is 750 mb file AND 750 mb on cd. WHAT happend??? This seconds audio sounds sooo sweet and I cant burn it, any ideas, what did I do wrong??

What I am asking is...
Why will a skvcd shrink when burned IF the audio is 128 kbps but not when the audio is 224 kbps or even 160 kbps, all of which I personally have tryed.
Please, someone who knows anything about this tell me.

Burn with Nero.
and to address the thought on the audio just being bigger...
ok, here it is. you know when you burn a kvcd or skvcd you can actually fit like, 760 ish mb on a cd (ive put 790 on a 74 min. cd). Well, when I burn my 701 mb mpg that has 128kbps stereo audio, only 650 mb on the cd are actually used up BUT...
when I try to burn, lets say my mpg with 160kbps audio which is only 20 mb larger then the 128 there is NO shrinkage, it attempts to burn 721 mb onto the cd.
and thats not possible, even with overburn.
Why wont it shrink?????

You probably made an error while muxing the video. you MUST chose "VCD (non standard)" if you mux with TMPGENC.
What tool did you use for the muxing ?

The only time I suffer from "shrinkage problems" is when the swimming pool is too cold.
