Avisynth: What Version of Avisynth is Best?

Doese anyone know what version or date of avisynth is best?
I am using one dated 5/4/2002.
Should I upgade it to ver 2.04?

I'm using the latest. 2.04. It's working great!

Can I just replace the avisynth.dll or do I need to unreg and rereg?
