I installed avisynth in an PIII that a friend gives me but after install my usual encoding tools when I preview any avs mplayer2 or windows media classic give me an "out of memory" error in status bar. An error also rise when I try to encode that script. Not even version() script works.

Did you check if you have any CODEC packs (DivX) already installed that could be conflicting

I didn't installed any codec pack. Only those I need as XVID and mpeg2.
But neither version() scripts works, without loading any source.
I cant find nothing neither in internet search.

And install a stable "old" version. It's really not sure that last release has been tested by its developpers on old PIII.

Let use a 2.5.4 or 2.5.2 may be.

Thank you Prodater64 for telling all what your problem was. A friend has had the same trouble all day and been trying to fix it, removing all the SSE2.dll/SSE3.dll's got rid of the problem.

Thanx again.

Always check your processors capability using CPU-Z utility before you make a choice between such filters having SSEx versions in them.
