i see this for acident,i forgot to put the resize,(simple chapter)
and it's equal a vob: try this only for test with a single chapter!

[AVISYNTH_Unfilter, NoMoSmoother & Blockbuster] final size 13,6mb
1=LoadPlugin(!Unfilter.dll)
2=Unfilter(^x_value,^y_value)
3=LoadPlugin(!NoMoSmooth.dll)
4=NoMoSmooth()
5=LoadPlugin(!Blockbuster.dll)
6=Blockbuster( method="noise", detail_min=1, detail_max=10, lv=1 )
7=Blockbuster( method="sharpen", detail_min=20, detail_max=90,strength=^StrengthValue )
!Unfilter.dll=C:\DVD2SVCD\Dlls\UnFilter.dll
^x_value=15
^y_value=15
!NoMoSmooth.dll=C:\DVD2SVCD\Dlls\NoMoSmooth.dll
!Blockbuster.dll=C:\DVD2SVCD\Dlls\Blockbuster.dll
^StrengthValue=20

the image is fantastic....but when i correct the script,
i see "stairs" in the lines:

[AVISYNTH_BilinearResize, Unfilter, NoMoSmoother & Blockbuster] final size 7,01mb
0=BilinearResize(^TargetWidth,^TargetHeight)
1=AddBorders(0,^BorderTop,0,^BorderBottom)
2=LoadPlugin(!Unfilter.dll)
3=Unfilter(^x_value,^y_value)
4=LoadPlugin(!NoMoSmooth.dll)
5=NoMoSmooth()
6=LoadPlugin(!Blockbuster.dll)
7=Blockbuster( method="noise", detail_min=1, detail_max=10, lv=1 )
8=Blockbuster( method="sharpen", detail_min=20, detail_max=90,strength=^StrengthValue )
!Unfilter.dll=C:\DVD2SVCD\Dlls\UnFilter.dll
^x_value=15
^y_value=15
!NoMoSmooth.dll=C:\DVD2SVCD\Dlls\NoMoSmooth.dll
!Blockbuster.dll=C:\DVD2SVCD\Dlls\Blockbuster.dll
^StrengthValue=20

my simple conclusion:
the filters are very good(including lankos,peach,sharpen...etc)
when we resize , we get "stairs" in lines,
when not resize ,the image is clear!

what can we do about this???
any idea,please?
of course,my english is poor and i have difficulty to explain,right?

Would this mean that the internal resize in TMPEG is better than the external resize methods
It doesn't sound logical, but I'll do a test.

no Kwag,
the first test(error test)
is without resize (no resize in tmpeg too)

720 x 480

Right, but what template were you using? If you were using the LBR, internally it's resizing to 352x240 for your target.

Kwag i reencode again,compare with original vob,
and see the same quality..
in tmpeg,when encode i see this:

(MPEG-1 720x480 23,976fps CQ_VBR 25)

i use that script ,and the vob has 45.8 mb,
and the encoded has 13 mb (bbMPEG_Muxed_File00)

read this:

My tests with 720x480 at max 2500 produced serious macroblocks all over the place, but I wasn't using a kwag template. I'll have to try it before commenting
