Hi,
I use the latest script, and works nearly fine, but u can always see blocks at a black background, what can that be?? I mostly have a CQ from about 80-90, that should be enough.

Cu

Osvaldo my dear friend,
i post it many times...
using the last script without changes,
no problems with avisynth and i have ghost images,
i can recall the system when some is strange.
all that i try give the same result.
i format and reinstall everything ,
i have one ghost image only with the programs
needed to make kvcds....special for encodes.
in all systems and images got the same problem.

really bore me cos don't know what happen and my source is clean dvd.

1) During preparing d2v with DVD2AVI did u used TVscale ore PCscale ?

2) Maybe u just check option -Output YUV data as basic YCbCr not CCIR601 - in TMPGenc under Quantize matrix TAB to convert all near black to real black ??? Worth to try

Doing this is a nonsense as it does exactly the opposite that you want to do by using Limiter() in your script.

THAT is the thing to change if you find your black to "green".

(reminder : limiter changes all luma value below 0 to 16, that means that a true black (L=0) is changed to a dark grey (L=16))

For sure ! My purpose wasn't to be rude or hurting anyone sensibility and I'm sad to see one more time how things seem differents when you use writing medium to communicate (adding that when english is not your natural language, you don"t give same weight to words like "nonsense" that it can have for other people). So sorry...

back...
hey bman,i remember now,it was a 4 months ago...
i copy the folder "video_ts" from dvd to hd and
rip this using Vstrip internal of dvd2svcd prog.

the worse,i trash the original(copy)vobs from video_ts folder
i only have the ripped vobs from Vstrip.

in dvd2avi project was using PCscale.
