Hi all,

When I have an anamorphic movie I allways use "SourceAnamorphic = True and DestinationAnamorphic=True" and it plays perfect on my 16:9 TV.

However I lent a KVCD to a friend the other day and on his 4:3 TV it was distroted..heads were stretched top to bottom.

I put it in my DVD player and set the TV to 4:3 mode and the same thing happened.

Well looks great on my 16:9, but I want it to be more compatible.

Should I be using "DestAnamorphic = false" instead to make thing right for 4:3 TVs? and if I do will it have a negative impact when viewing on a 16:9 TV?

Thanks!!

You should be able to correct the aspect on a 16:9 TV.
All VCDs are (should!) encoded 4:3, as the specifications don't define 16:9.
That means, encode 4:3 and not as 16:9.

Specifications? What specifications. We are breaking all the VCD rules here why not one more?

If I encode it as 4:3 that will mean I have to stretch it for my 16:9 TV and it will look like poop. Well not actually poop, but not as good right cause less resolution? I've had one to many beers
