Hi there,
I used to convert my DV footage to XVCD (352x288, CBR=2400), the result was fair but not good enough. I recently try SKVCD but increase the resolution from 352x576 to 480x576, all other settings remind unchanged. So far as scripting is concerned, I only used Limiter+Undot+MergeChroma(blur(1.5)). The final output is really sharp but there is Gibbs effect. Is there any suggestion on scripting?

When I do DVD conversion with same settings as above, there is not that much Gibbs effect. Why? Does it have anything to do with the source? DVDs usually have an average bitrate at 7000-8000, but DV has a much lower bitrate.
