Calm down !

As you see yourself ffvfw is a tool that could lead to some problems on certain machines, but you just have to uninstall it if you ssufer from its installation.

It is not a virus, and it is not the end of the world that comes because on your PC the things are bad.

You are just unlucky.

yes wolfi,
take it easy my friend.

first uninstall ffvfw and the avisynth(reboot the system),
then download and install the new avisynth version from here:

http://cultact-server.novi.dk/kpo/av...nth_030903.exe

details about the new version:
http://cultact-server.novi.dk/kpo/avisynth/avs_cvs.html

Well I will have to reinstall the whole computer( writing from an other computer right now, the crashed one locks itself in the startup )

I got some questions

This link you gave me Jorel is'nt it the same 2.52 version as you can find at http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...group_id=57023 or are they different in some way?

Is it possible that AviSynth can make my system slow and even destroy the computer as ffvfw does

wolfi,
first try to reinstall the system without format the hd.
if the system back ok,
then uninstall the ffvfw and the avisynth from your system.
install the new!

the link that i post is for the last new avisynth without ffvfw
(see the date = 030903)...is a different link from Sh0dan!
i had problems with ffvfw a few months to and i'm using this last avisynth!

the answer to your last question is:
maybe ffvfw broke something, not avisynth!

Just checking to see if you were able to fix your problem Wolfi. I also had the same problem but as soon as I uninstalled FFVFW everything was back to normal.
