I have a divx movie and the resolution is 480x280, it is non-interlace. When i use it in an avisynth script, and add anything in the script to change the resolution, TMPGEnc loads it as interlace. Is that normal for non-interlace to go to interlace just by resizing?

As you probably know there is no automatic way to find if a source is interlaced or not. Only your eyes can tell.

I do not know how tmpgenc find if the source is interlaced or not but I can tell you I never mind this setting : I always let it "as it" and everything is ok. I even try once to change it and there is no change in the result.

Thanks. I was thinking of changing it to non-interlace(progressive), but i thought it would look messed up or something, but now i know i doesn't make a difference.

Thanks again
