The main reason I stopped working on the filters is because I've not done anything video-related in a long time. I find the VCDs I made before, which looked amazing on my old TV, look appalling on my new (HD) set.

At the moment I have no plans to resume development on the filters (for free, at least ), but that might all change were I to pick up a DVD burner .

One day. At the moment I'm saving up for an iBook. If only I didn't have to pay bills...

After that, probably a DVD burner

You'll love the machine, and the OS. I have one too
Actually, I have the 12" display iBook model, and an old PowerPC G4 400Mhz (overclocked to 450), all running Mac OS X 10.3.x, and it's really sweeeeeet.

The prices are going down every day. And the blank DVD-R's are too
But I use the DVD-R's "Real Estate" to the max, with 2 movies (or 3 on average )

That's the one I'm looking at. I see no reason for the 14" when the 12" has the same resolution. I was all set to get one, too, because I got some work doing freelance copy editing for a magazine, but the person who hired me forgot to tell her boss, and he hired someone else at roughly the same time.

Hi Ren,
Yes the guy is talented but not very reasonable himself.
Some people don't stand by their reputation.
Neuron2 is one of them.
He just needed to say he didn't feel well here any longer, and leave.
I did that back at D9 and I was registred since what? Early 2003?
Why did he have to say such things?
Oh well. Forget it.

SansGrip how big is your new HD TV set
What res. did you encode your movies
One CD encodes
Which scripts
Damn "big mouth" Portuguese guy
You could allways do some work with GripFit.
Some other member developed it to AVS 2.5x.
But sometimes weird things happen.
Cheers all
