I have a PVR-250 (not USB) and I use with analog cable service. I get rolling horizonal lines on it and my tv's when the computer is connected to the cable. I've replaced all cables with R6 and have an anode on the cable attached to the PVR-250. The cable is one piece from the cable company splitter to the computer, no intermediate connections. When the PVR-250 is disconnected, the tv's are perfect.

Any suggestions? At wits end.

You need a special device which will be connected between the Antenna Cable. Thats called in german "Mantelstrom-Filter" which filters out Analogue Interferrencies.
Karl already gave that advice to others in here and so he knows the english word for that piece of filter device.

"Ferrite Bead"
You can get those at Radio Shack or any other electronics shop.
Put one on each end of the video cable.

That's what I meant by "anode". I installed one from Radio Shack without improvement. Will buy another to allow fit on both ends.

Thanks.
