What is your DVD drive mount point
You might have to create a symbolic link for your mount point to say "E:"
For example, if your DVD drive mount point is /cdrom/ (that's on my machine, which is BSD, so your mount point will be different), you would type:
ln -sf /cdrom/whatever /E:
That will create a file on your root drive called E: which will actually point to the /cdrom/whatever
Also, I recall that you might have to check the file "wine.conf" and check how is the DVD drive identified.
That's probably the reason that DVDShring can't see the drive.
Check this last option first
The file should be on /etc
If you can't find it, open a shell, and change to your root directory "cd /" and type: "whereis wine.conf" or type "locate wine.conf" and edit the file.
