Does anyone know about port scans,i use a firewall and my ISP has been port scanning me for the past few months ,is this normal

They are TCP port scans

No it is not and your provider actually don't do that. Or you should change very fast

Do you remember which ports were scanned ?

Its different most of the times but a few of the common ones are

135 and 445

My ISP name: CIA
My connection: Wireless connection
I got scannings on all ports.
Do you know what is happening

135 is actually the DNS port and 445 is the file sharing function of win2000/XP/2003.

445 is alarming as some virii use this chanel to enter into computers. So block it.
135... you can let it open with not fear : your ISP is only trying to identify you to see if it needs to reference your IP into its Naming Directory.
Note that for privacy reason I blocked it also.

But are you sure that are not actual OUTGOING communications ?

Edit:Actually 135 and 445 are used by a virus. So that is somehow common to be probed on that ports. That's how tojan try to enter a PC. BLOCK THESE PORTS !
