Hi, first of all: Great work!!!

Now my questions:

1. Do I have to / should I crop the black bars in Tmpgenc (using "clip frame"?)
2. Do I have to set aspect ratios for input/output video?

No and no .
That's the job of FitCD. The use the templates as default ( full screen ), because the proper values are being sent by AviSynth to TMPEG.
