I have learned that for my player, 352*480(576) is a good resolution. If I understand correctly, this is the "standard" resolution for CVCD - which my player states that it supports... Any comment on that to start with?
If I wanna use that resolution for KVCDx3 (MPEG1 or MPEG2), what is the suggested CQ (I guess it should be increased)?

Hi steve,
352x480 is a standard DVD resolution called "half D-1". Also, it's the standard CVD resolution. CVCD is fixed at 352x240(28
.
If you want to use 352x480, don't use the x3. Use the KVCD 352x480 PLUS, if you want MPEG-1. Or use the SKVCD template, which substitutes CVD's and SVCD's. Give that a try.
