Hello all oyu may of read ht eohter topic where I asked about mini-cd capasity I figured it out(thank god) and my final product was oof by 2megs so had to re do everythign all over because I dont wana over-burn these babies and mess them up.Well all though it is not 120minutes I succesfly got 77minutes onto 1mini-kvcd.The quality is that of normal vcd. This is quiet well as I problay will just play in a portably dvd player(looked normal vcd quality on 13inch tv).I am probaly gona end up buying a 50pack of mini-cd-r's and when I get dvd burner some mini-dvd's they hold up to 1.4gigs so with kdvd Im sure I can safely fit 1full lenght 2hr movie. But ti is just cool having these small dsc with tv shows(note:I they are only suppost to hold ~24minutes as a vcd normal and I did an encode of the maxium size fo a simpsons ep looked great but I dont want 1 disc per episode :P)

I don't see your point : "mini" are often more expensive than normal disc !
Where is the gain there ?

Hi zerotype,
All I have to say is that mine are regular CDRs, they look warm and they (almost) look like DVD.
Cool is not always good.
And I can only deal with good otherwise I trash it
Cheers

Hi zerotype,
I had already understood you in the first post.
I stick to what I posted: I only author with regular size CDs and DVDs.
Mini sizes are always more expensive.
The cost per MB is considerably higher than regular size.
So, if I want to encode a 45min.>TV show>80min. I use regular size CD-R'80.
If I want to encode a movie, I rip three movies, encode them and burn them on a regular DVD-R.
1DVD=3Movies will give me an average of 1.3GB per movie.
And it's cheaper than 1MiniDVD=1Movie that can hold 1.4GB.
Believe me: there is a very small quality loss in my case but it's only evident on a WS50" TVset.
Mine is WS32" and I can't see the damn difference.
But, anyone can do whatever they want.
Cheers
