When I use the capture feature to capture video from my VCR, I have to set the audio rate, frame rate, and a couple other things each time and if I forget any one, my capture is blown and I end up have to do it again.

anyone know any tricks? I tried using the save profile in the player, but it doesn't seem to save the setting from the capture feature.

It's been quite a while since I last used VDub to capture, but if I remember correctly, there is an option to save settings, at least in the latest VirtualDubMod. I never had to change any settings after I had set them once.
