I have been using this program for a few DVD encodes and I must say I'm very pleased with the result. Even for movies that have been compressed around 50-60%. No kidding
Have anyone else here tried this program and compared it to, for example, DVD Shrink or similar software?

How come Recode is easily 3-5 times faster than shrink?

Recode 87% = 4 mins
Shrink 87% = 18 mins

(figures not accurate, but the diference is high)
