I had been using tmpeg for a month without any problems i made some kvcds succesfully file size was appropriate everything was doing fine until now the file size says that the output file is going to be less than 700 MB and it ends up being over 800 MB so now i cant fit it into one 700 MB Cd-r i tried using Tmpeg Xpress but it only converts half of the movie. What can i do or what am i doing wrong?

Without knowing what is your source, i's quite hard to help you.
I suppose that if you have problems, you're converting an avi file.

And, the encoding just stop, without error? Strange
In this case, you should check the avi, to be sure that there is no problem with it.

I bolded out some words in your post that puzzled me a bit.
I understand that you are running tmpgenc.
Which version? Would it be 2.510.xxx or the new Xpress 3.0?
Or you mean you tried both already?
Which one is giving you a final file size estimate?
2.510 cannot predict final file size so either you're talking about Xpress or you're using a tool like Tok or CQMatic.
Would this be the case?

Ive tried both already with TMPEGenc i used 2.50.xxx and used the wizard through the process so at the end before converting it said the size of the output file and now is coming out to big to fit into a standard 700 MB-80 min Cd-r and with TMPEG xpress it only encoded half of the movie. I hope that this is more helpful......can u help me

2.5xx.xxx cannot predict final file size.
I don't recall about 3.0 but I was convinced it also could not predict file size.
Use a tool like CQMatic with Calcumatic.
Please post all info regarding tools and their versions and methods used or followed guides please.
