No way.
The Limiter() before and after the Letterbox(74,74,8, doesn't cure the dark effect...
This is not normal.
Even I hadn't noticed this before
I really have to reinstall XP again.
I will be finished with the installation later on today.
By then, I'll update this thread.
In the mean time, because I didn't know if it had anything to do with this movie, I tried the same thing with DareDevil which has the same Marvel intro.
Same result: original and nuenc output look the same, tmpg looks darker .
C u later

Install Win 2000 Professional, if possible, and update to SP4
You'll be better off

I can't
I have a small digi camera that comes with drivers for winxp only.
It's very weird.
I've tried it on Win2k lot's of times and it simply won't work.
And the worst thing is that one of these days we'll get Longhorn or whatever and maybe it won't be compliant with that one too
If only it would have a known brand I could try to find new drivers.
It's a cheap thing bought at Lidl's.
Doesn't have anything like FCC ID or anything...
I guess I'll stay with XP as long as I can.
Thansk for the tip, though
Cheers
