Run VCDEasy and go to "TOOLS/CDRDAO Tools". There you'll find "Burn a CUE or TOC CD Image".

Looks good kwag. By the way, you may want to add a readme into your zip. I didn't know about the VCDeasy part because I had Nero and like most of us, we're not familiar with tocs. Though I figured it out, I had to edit the toc because I didn't have a k drive.

Thanks 2COOL,
I've made a note on the "What's New" section

If any of you use Nero and you want to Burn and ISo, Cue, Bin ect. file. Then you need to get DaemonsTools. http://www.daemon-tools.com/ This is a great and easy proggy that lets you mount a fake drive with that file and just use CD Copy in Nero. It couldn't be easier!

Hi twobit326,
In fact it could...
I agree that DaemonTools is a great tool, but you don't need it to burn ISO and CUE/BIN images. Nero can burn them directly.

Hey Kwag,
The .toc file didn't work for me either- I ended up extracting each .dat and burned it that way.
I notice that the movement of the space shuttle isn't fluid- seems a little jerky. Am I imagining this or should this not have been IVTC'd?
thanks,
ren

Hi ren,
Yes, I did IVTC, but it was a crappy capture via S-Video :P
So it's not 100% fluid as it should have. Don't know why, because I've IVTC'ed captures just like that before and they looked perfect
Maybe it's the decomb.dll. I used the latest version. Version 4.0 I believe.

Hi rend,
Like 2COOL said, you have to edit the TOC file.
It's a text file, so you can open in any text editor.
Extract the ZIP in the root of your C:, then edit the TOC end replace K:/ with C:/.
That's it.

Wassup muaddib,
I know you know what your doing but there are others who might have problems with just replacing K:/ with C:/.
For people out there just learning, right click the kvcd_compat.toc and Open with... notepad. But remember to uncheck "Always use this program to open this file."
Once you're inside you'll see 11 of these in quotes: " K:/kvcd_compat.bin"
Just put the correct path into all instances of " K:/kvcd_compat.bin".
Example: My kvcd_compat.toc happened to be in my D:/KVCD/kvcd_compat.bin directory. Yours is going different of course. So I replaced all " K:/kvcd_compat.bin" with "D:/KVCD/kvcd_compat.bin". Save .toc and open in VCDeasy.
Soo, it's just not the drive letter we have to change but the path also.

hey,
I don't know why the .toc file doesn't work after I edit it with the right path to the .bin (I know you guys meant to use back slashes ) I get this error in vcd easy:
ERROR: D:\My Documents\video tools\KVCD\kvcd_compat\kvcd_compat.toc:7: Illegal token: \
ERROR: D:\My Documents\video tools\KVCD\kvcd_compat\kvcd_compat.toc:7: Illegal token: \
ERROR: D:\My Documents\video tools\KVCD\kvcd_compat\kvcd_compat.toc:7: syntax error at "EOF" missing EndString
ERROR: D:\My Documents\video tools\KVCD\kvcd_compat\kvcd_compat.toc:7: Illegal token: \
well, I'm glad all the samples play fine with my sony dvp-nc600- Damn, I love this player- I've never gone wrong with a sony!

rendalunit,
I actually copied and pasted that path right from my modified toc. Just for curiosity purposes, I went back and did one line with backward slashes and I got the SAME exact error as you. You gotta use forward slashes to make it work.
I like my Sony when I'm watching real DVDs but it only plays compliant VCDs.

Hmmm...going back to my previous post, something looked wrong when I read it again.
Where the line reads...Example: My kvcd_compat.toc happened to be in my D:/KVCD/kvcd_compat.bin directory.
That should've read Example: The path to my kvcd_compat.bin is D:/KVCD/kvcd_compat.bin
That sounds better.

Or just burn the .bin with Nero. Just make sure to burn as MODE-2.

That's why I said "extract the ZIP in the ROOT of your C:"
I was trying to make it as simple as possible.

I got it to work now-- I used forward slashes (that's weird because paths usually use backslashes don't they ).
Kwag, the 544x480 plays fine on my player- I didn't think that res would work Does that work on the sony ns300 too?
thx,
ren

kwag-
i burned the bin file in nero under mode 2 and it works fine on my computer but not in either of my dvd players. the menu comes up on the players but when i select a number to play it doesn't react. i have an apex 1200 and panasonic rv31. any ideas? i tried vcdeasy and it wouldn't work with my win 2000 setup so i figured the nero idea was the best thing for me to do.
thanks!

I have exactly the same problem on my Sony DAV-S800 as you know Kwag
When I initially put the CD in it shows NTSC PBC on the display. Tried stopping it after seeing the backdrop and tried selecting a track to play or even going up and down the tracks but when I select one to play it says:
Disc is Dirty
