I have just found out about KVCD. Eager to try it I am converting I am sam. The problem is the size of the widescreen ban on the top and bottom of the screen. I have tried changing the field order and source aspect ratio in tmpgenc but the best I can get is either a big black band or full screen. I have converted lots of films using tmpgenc templates in the past with no problems so im hoping other people have had this problem and found a simple solution. I am looking to get it to around the size of 4:3. Any help would be great.

What are you using to preview your mpeg file?

You must use either WinDVD or PowerDVD to display the correct aspect ratio.

Or burn the mpeg to VCD and view it in your DVD player.

Don't use WMP for playback.
