The setting is put to "full screen"
ON PURPOSE !
But if you insist to do silly things, simply change any settings you want to and click on the "save" button. Replace the original template if you are sure of your settings, or simply give it an other name.
Don't blame KDVD for the pitty result you would have after that.

Everything is clear in the message you receive. There is no workarround.
You must convert your anamorphic source into flat 4:3 one.
