Hank does that himself generally. And as there is no GUI yet, perhaps he does not consider this is something to announce yet.

We, hank and me, was mailing to each other. He send me that version previously (maybe a month ago) to release it yesterday. I tested it and still not targeting final size accurately in CQ_maxbitrate mode.
He said me that more than enhancing CQ_maxbitrate mode it was working tweaking 1PVBR.

This creates a due in my mind.
What is the usual encoding mode that i must to use with CCE to obtain a good quality
1 VAF pass + 2 VBR passes or
1 VAF pass + 1 VBR pass

How are (passes wise) your encodings with CCE?

When I use this mode, I do 2 real passes : 1 VAF + 1 video. With a correct script, the matrix we use and the general settings for KDVD, I never need to use a 3rd pass.

1 VAF + 2 video, this should be called 3 passes. I don't see the point to call that "2 passes".

How you do the prediction phase, just manually?
If you don't use ASPA frequenly, permit me say you JFYI that DIKO prediction phase works perfect with CCE 2.7.

With this little guide you will encode only audio or only video, or avoid any pass in the whole process.

Yes I am and I explained a couple of time that I do manual predicition. That works VERY well (2 or 3 attempts are enought).

I won't install that tool to do something that is done VERY easily manually. And my personnal comment is that I never see the slightest utility to DIKO since it came to life, I don't think this will ever change.
