If you want use or/and test Mencocer you must don' use Notch Matrix


Mencoder MP@ML compliant stream

If you want make MPEG2 with Main Level you must use:

- Good motion motion vector range
- multipass encoding
- good Rate Control tweak for vbv compliant stream


If you use that IMO MPEG2 stream produce by Mencoder are always MP@ML compliant stream ...

If you want I can make complete Faq profil for mencoder in all situation (low, medium and high bitrate) for make test yourself ...
