when you click "rip and convert"
the prog answer if you want to "change the bitrate to default".
if you click "yes" than run but change all that you adjust.
(turn all to 1150...avg and time /size to default)
if you click "no" the program turn to bitrate tab,and
wait for your adjust........

my solution (for now)
rip only then edit your dvd2svcd.ini (in your default output folder)
and adjust the bitrate.....etc.

anyone have the same problem?

I haven't had any problems with it
changing the settings I've put into it,
and I have yet to mess with the .ini file.

My method is to rip using DVD Decryptor
Then feed the ifo file into D2S. comes out great every time.

Though I don't let if build the image, I like to tweak things
myself for menus and stuff.

good luck, and there is now officially 1.1.0 build 1 out
you may want to try that.
