I'm following the kvcdx2 guide to create my first svcd using kvcd template.

I'm down to the section where audio is encoded using dvd2svcd. From what I've read this downsamples the audio to 44.1 Khz and the next step is to re-mux encoded video and encoded audio using bbMPEG.

Encoding the audio with dvd2svcd is not done as straight forward as it says in the guide posted here in kvcd.net. Is there a corrected version of this guide anywhere? Can I use a more specific audio encoding software?

It seems to me that encoding video with TMPGEnc was a piece of cake but this dvd2svcd has so many options and functionality that isolating what you need to encode audio only is very cumbersome.

Any ideas that shed some light to continue with my first kvcdx2 project?
