Hi

I am encoding a 592x256 source divx from which the quality isn't that good. I have decided to do VCD 352x240 res. My question is should i go CQ_VBR or CQ? From reading CQ vs CQ_VBR thread you all seem to say CQ_VBR should be used for resolutions under 480x480. I just want some opinions

@Adder,

With the new GOP and Q-Matrix you can use CQ. With a poor
Divx (avi) to start with don't expect the conversion to look
better. Check out the stick in this forum "Guide to Convert
Divx (avi) to KVCD". It's based on using CQ. Have Fun
