Just wanted to point out that if you go to the webpage through the link currently listed here in the download section for DVD2AVI, version 1.76 is no longer visibly listed anywhere for download there. However, it can still be dowloaded from there if the following full link is used instead:
http://arbor.ee.ntu.edu.tw/~jackei/d...VD2AVI_176.zip
regards,
-d&c
EDIT: Black Prince, also please add the following link for DCTFilter so people don't have to hunt-and-peck through other less obvious posts for it. http://www.jungleweb.net/~sansgrip/DctFilter_YUY2.zip . You also might add a note about disregarding what it says in the included ReadMe about it only being an Avisynth 2.5 filter. Sansgrip fixed it to work with 2.0x, but the docs weren't updated to reflect it.

@ BP..
from a "newbie" point of view, is it possible to list those AVIsynth filter
*.dll 's that are required for a given version in this page ??
I am going out of my mind here. I thought what would be a 2 minute
AVIsynth updated version installation is turning out to be a nitemare and
so far, I'm on my 1st hour of:
* trial and error of trying to load a simple AVS script, but to no avail and
...many AVS error, and
* hunting for so called, newer .dll files for v2.52
decomb.dll that I have does not work in v2.52 and when I went to warpenterprises
website, he has an empty version for v2.52 - no decomb.dll was in the .zip
I'm going one by one, which each failed AVS script (vdub) and hunting
and pecking for these .dll files like crazy !!
AVIsynth v2.52 D/L these files
----------------------------------
x,y,z
AVIsynth v2.08 D/L these files
----------------------------------
x,y,z
would be GREAT!! the next time someone else goes through this !!
Please make it easier, if it's not too much to ask.
Help anyone!! Thanks!!

hi bp..
I am just plumb mad!! no decomb support for latest versoin v2.52 !!
I just finished leaving a message @ doom9 w/ sh0dan about this
and how come they released w/ NO decomb !! Why would you leave out a
great IVTC filter. I've tried and used GreedyH.. but it didn't seem to cut
it for me. Decomb is better (IMO) Sorry creator of greedy.. no hard feelings hehe..
Anyways.. I made mention elsewhere on this FORUM that I've already
D/L'ed ALL filters Version 2x and 2.52 - - So, I have them all.. but decomb.
Thanks for your response though
I'm still mad, cause I can't work w/ any of the scripts from Kwag and
guys here, w/ my captures as my source.

About bob()..
I'll don't know.. but I'll give it a test. I recall the bob() being included auto
matically in v1.0 beta 5 w/out any filter .dll files. I'll go an see and
let you know.

@ bp..
About bob()..
Yes, it does work. But, bob() isn't an IVTC. I've uesd it for other purposes,
but not Film conversions.
I just got a doom9 message, to check out (I'll share) this link:
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=54456
w/ reference to neuron2's decomb versions. So, I'll keep you all
posted, as I think others here would benefit or need to know.

@ jorel..
Thanks for your help. However, I managed to get it all working on my
updated AVIsynth v2.52 setup, w/ Neuron2's assistance.
So, all is sorted out
Thanks pal.

hi incognito..
Quote:
How do I know which sample is 352x240 (28? Also what does (28 mean?
BTW I have a Philips DVD 701
|
the (28 is for those using PAL specifications. So, if you are from PAL
land, then when you see the above, just apply like so: 352x288, else
it's 352x240.
To know which sample is which should probably say somewhere's in the
filename, else if you load the samples inside vdub, you can check this by
going to Menu, File/Information... and look at the top, there you'll see
what the resolutions are, among other tid-bits

EDIT: - I guess "incognito" deleted himself

Yep
I'm taking the time to remove unrelated posts around the forum.
That is, if I can't move them, of course.
Specially this thread, which is for "Downloads"
( And this post will be deleted later too )

It works perfectly ad it is the only one that exist.
You probably have a problem according to your CPU. The dll are CPU dependent and perhaps the ones you need don't exist
