Hi
..Until today I encodet Videos in the way,
Start tmpgenc
load the Source AVI (or something)..
Load the k - or m - or a or xyz(S)VCD Template..
(sometimes i change to 2 pass vbr to fit the Video on one CD using a simple bitrate calculator)
Encodet and after that i burnd the CD using Nero..
Everything works fine.
So far so good
I am not a "Newbee" in encoding. but.. If there is something to improve, then I would do that gladly.

Reading this Forum i often see parts of skripts.
Now my silly Questions, Shoult i use the skripts?
What are they good for?
Where have i use them?
Is there something wrong, in the way i encode?

btw.: Sorry 4 my dreadfully english, my spanish is even more badly

There's nothing wrong in the way you encode, but without using scripts (filters), you're missing things like higher quality with less noise, taking advantage of "Blocks TV-Overscan, etc.
It all boils down to a higher quality that is not achieved without the filters
Download MovieStacker or SwiftAVS and play with scripts. You'll see a huge difference in your encodes.
