Hi dtownsu0000,

You're going to have to re-encode that! Try encoding with KVCD 352x240 PLUS template.

If the file is MPEG-1, you should be able to open it directly with TMPEG, load the template, and encode.
It it's an MPEG-2, you need to run DVD2AVI and create a .d2v project file, then process that with TMPEG. Read some of the guides, and simply bypass the regular ripping methods described on the guides. Check Black Prince guide here: http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2885 as most of it applies to what you want to do, even though the guide is for AVI->KVCD.

This is my first post so a big Hi to all and thanks to Kwag. Just thought I would be of some help and point out that 704 x 480 does indeed work on the Apex AD500w, so does 544 x 480 (not 522 x 480 though). Although you may not be too happy with the result of the high res depending on how many bits you are willing to throw at it.

Well 704X480 works but the sound skips every fw seconds and desyncs like a ****** so i consider that as not working. Anways i rencoded it to a lower resolution and it plays great.

Well I have only used 704x480 on svcd's of TV caps, so maybe muxing as svcd instead of vcd could be the difference.
