I just encoded Enemy of the State (2 hr. 12 min.) with the default KVCDx2 template and i got a result of 1.12 GB! Whats the maximum amount of movie that i can fit on ONE cd with the KVCDx2 template?

How low of a CQ do you think i can go to until i can fit the movie on one CD, but not lose that much quality?

The CQ in the templates has been set to the lowest value for an acceptable picture quality. If you start to decrease the value, the file size will be smaller, but so will the quality. Some movies just don't fit, and they have to go in 2 CD's.

do you think if i used the original KVCD template, this movie would fit on one CD? Does the KVCDx2 produce greater file sizes? Also, if i use the KVCDx2 2-CD do u think it would fit on two CD's, or woudl it be too large for 2-CD's since when using the 1CD its too large for it?
