It's no good Don't use it
The process will set TMPEG to use the same GOP as it is on the DVD, and we can then say bye bye to our compression

But it could be good for high quality Stuff?
Like the MiniDVDs I am making @ the moment (full DVD resolution, AC3 Sound, Subtitles, Tmpeg with KVCD/KDVD Template...) At least the Matrix would remain the same...

You don't need a (One-To-One) I frame for DVD to KVCD(KDVD), because you are re-encoding
If you were "Transcoding", then it would be a different story. Even if you are doing a MiniDVD, you can benefit by using a longer GOP ( MAX 15 PAL, MAX 18 NTSC ), instead of a shorter variable GOP, as it's normally seen on DVDs
Hope it makes sense

Sure it does...

Think I'll have to shorten my GOP (used standard TOK KVCD GOP for Bourne Identity MiniDVD... looks great though!)
