I am getting this error when tmpge starts:

AVIsource autodetect couldn't open file
Error code: 32

has any one else had this ? how do i fix it?

DVD2SVCD seems to be changing the environment settings in tmpge when it starts.
ie. unchecking avisynth sript reader.

well i found the problem now how do i fix it? anyone?

I saw the modification also but don't have problems without the avs reading checked; So its possible your problem is elsewhere (not the correct codec ?).

Did you try to open the avs by hand in tmpgenc with the avs reading option checked ?

Note: I dropped definitively D2S yesterday because this modification in settings leads a a Loooooooonnnnnnngggggggg encoding time.

I really don't understand why they did that (

hi dialhot,

yes i did try opening the avs in tmpge with readavs checked and it worked fine!

Which version of dvd2svcd are you using now?

Currently I do quite everything with CQ matic as I don't have any DVD to backup.
But I think I will use the last previous version (1.1.3) next time.

my problem seems to be with the readavs plugin.

it was not in my tmpge folder so i tried to copy it from the dvd2svcd folder and edit the reg file but it didnt work. is this the right thing to do?

where can i download the readavs plugin from? i cant get it any where!
