It's not strange, it's Xvid !
Do it as always (in 24fps) except that you have to do video and audio together with tmpgenc. It's the only way to have a sound in synch with the video.
Do not use external tool for audio, you have to use internal engine of tmgenc.

Do first a tmpgenc project with video only and process the prediction part with cqmatic. Then reopen tmpgenc, set the parameters for the audio and set (or let) the CQ calculated by CQMatic. Everything should be okay.

Thanx Dialhot i've been here long enough now i should be learning things like this
Before i came to kvcd.net i only did regular vcd's with the video and sound done by tmpge but now i can't figure out how to load the avs(because i want all the filters still)and get the sound to work.
I loaded the avs and selected system(video+audio) but when it encodes i still get only video and no audio.
What do i have to do
here is the script
Quote:
AviSource("C:\my movie.avi")
Blockbuster(method="noise",detail_min=1,detail_max =8,variance=0.3,seed=5823)
Deen()
GripCrop(352, 480, overscan=1, source_anamorphic=false)
GripSize(resizer="LanczosResize")
Undot()
TemporalSoften(2,7,7,3,2)
DCTFilter(1,1,1,1,1,1,0.5,0)
Blockbuster(method="noise",detail_min=1,detail_max =10,variance=0.5,seed=5623)
GripBorders()

1/ Are you sure you don't have Avisource("name.avi",false) ?
2/ Do you have ReadAvs plugin installed correctly ? (try to check only Avisynth script reader in Tmgenc Environnemental settings (VFAPI tab).
Normally, when you load the script, both "video" and "audio" source line should filled with the same source automatically. If else, try to set manually the audio source line.

@ Dialhot
On my first try i did have the ,false line in but realized it and removed it because i thought that could be the problem but it still didn't work.
Anyway i had AVI VFW compatibility reader checked and unchecked it and now everything works
Thanx again
