for the last 6 months i have done kvcd and it was going great...i am using an "old method" but it was getting me there...i have installed the new ace codec in my computer and since then tmpgenc will not open my avs file (can not open or unsupported)...i have reintalled the readavs plugin and made all the setting for tmpgenc like i found on your site and still nothing...here is my script (i know it looks old but it was doing the job)

LoadPlugin("C:\Program Files\NimoCodec Pack\Mpeg2dec\Mpeg2dec.dll")
LoadPlugin("C:\Documents and Settings\Mes documents\Programmes\GripFit_preview_0.0c\GripFit_ Preview.dll")
LoadPlugin("C:\Documents and Settings\Mes documents\Programmes\FluxSmooth-1.0\FluxSmooth.dll")
LoadPlugin("C:\Documents and Settings\Mes documents\Programmes\LegalClip-0.2\LegalClip.dll")
LoadPlugin("C:\Documents and Settings\Mes documents\Programmes\Sampler-0.2a\Sampler.dll")
LoadPlugin("C:\Documents and Settings\Mes documents\Programmes\DustV5\DustV5.dll")
LoadPlugin("C:\Documents and Settings\Mes documents\Programmes\TemporalCleaner\TemporalClean er.dll")

avisource("C:\Documents and Settings\Mes documents\Films\Films à faire\file.avi")
ConvertToYUY2()
LegalClip()
GripCrop(width=528, height=480, overscan=2)
GripSize()
SpaceDust()
Fluxsmooth()
TemporalCleaner()
GripBorders()
LegalClip()
Sampler(length=24)

please help me

Hi big,

What message do you get when you go in TMPEG, under Environmental/VFAPI on the "AviSynth virtualdub reader" line
It should read "ReadAVS.dll"
If it doesn't, then your ReadAVS.dll is not properly registered.

hi,
inside the package that contains readavs.dll exists a .reg file
you must change this to proper path, that readavs.dll resides,
and then double-click it to enter that value to registry

example given
mine says

REGEDIT4

; Replace the path below with the real path to the DLL.
; Be sure to type each backslash twice, as in the example.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VFPlugin]
"Avisynth"="c:\\program files\\TMPGEnc\\ReadAVS.dll"
