ok so i follwed the guides and whatnot and have my m2v files and ac3 files, i load them into tmpgenc dvd author, make my menu, and have it make my vobs, and then if i preview or burn the video plays with no audio, at an acelerated rate almost like its being fast forwarded... i have absolutely no clue what the problem is, but any help would be greatly apreciated

sounds like a frame rate prob eg
your source was ntsc 23 fps movie you may have converted the video to pal 25 and not the audio if not ,try do the audio with headach3e or even to mp2 format which would save space aswell i use 128kps for my kdvds they sound fien just maker they are 48k for dvd compliany though hope this helps

no the audio isnt the problem... somewhere in the process if my vobs being made the film plays like way too fast, and i think theres no audio just because its playing so fast... and my movies are 29.97 fps just like they should be right? i used the templates to encode the m2v's

yo i was wrong it is the audio.... when i author it without audio it plays fine, but when i add in audio its back to messed up... i tried reencoding to 23fps and 29 with besweet neither worked, so now im going to encode it with headach3 to mp2 and see how that works
