Hi
can ayone show me the link or the thread that shows how to convert mpeg1 and mpeg2 files to KVCD/KSVCD.

I have a lot of mpeg files and want to burn them as KVCD

I use VCDEasy to make bin/cue then burn in Nero

File>Burn Image>Then select file to burn

That is not exactly what he wanted to know I guess.

MPEG1/MPEG2 is basically the same thing as doing DVD : open DVD2AVI, load the MPEG into it, save the d2v project and use this as source in you KVCD making process.

The only problem is for MPEG1 that DVD2AVI sometimes handles very badly. I hope you want have any problems like that as there is no really convenient solution.

Why use avi to KVCD guide when I told you that is basically as doing a DVD, and some DVD to KVCD guides exist ?

i followed the DVD guide and i got lost right at STep 4 with Movie Stacker
i don't know what to do

to be more specific, i don't know what template i should choose. i searched the forum but couldn't find anything helpful about it yet

You talk about templates for Moviestacker ? Don't worry about that, you don't have to use one.
Let the moviestacker part on the side. Take one of the optimal scripts provided here :

Just adapt the relevant lines to your case (load of the source and resolution of the target in the gripcrop line) and go to the next setp of the guide.

sorrie for all these questions, i'm a newbite that's why

when i opened the d2v source, the script appears in the box so what i did was i deleted everything execept the following and paste the script in the link that you gave me after it.

Presets in WHAT ? I do not know what guide you used so I can't know what operation you are talking about without any clue.
(please, do not tell me just the name of that guide, I do not have time to read all of them
