Hi all:
I'm posting here since there's no specific CCE forum, and I got this error while encoding for KDVD.
I'm trying to back up Animatrix to KDVD. Encoding the film with CCE 2.67.00.23, with Q=22 and aspect ratio 16:9. I didn't change any other parameter (employing KDVD template267.reg, Vmesquita guide).
Everything runs OK until the encoder stops and shows the following message:
Quote:
OPV VBV ovf frame#25404 (01:16:56:06) I34704 max 34268,60 rel 435,40 1,01 qsv 25,33->25,32
I'm now encoding the rest of the film (from frame 25405 on, made a new avs script with trim(25406,0). But:
- how should I then merge the files to make a single .m2v file?. do I use the TMPGEnc MPEG tools?
- what can I do to avoid this problem?. Is it a VBV problem?. Do I have to adjust VBV?. Where am I supposed to do that?.
Help please... and Happy New Year

Regulary a VBV in DVD mode is standard.
(EDIT: I forgot to mention the value = 224)

So the best to see what's wrong is to note the timestamp and open the avs in vdub where you scroll to exact this mentioned timestamp.

What occurs?

- almost dark slow moving frames?

or

- fast action or i.e. river water / Waterfall scenes with much bright / dark frequencies within the image?

A ti tambien que pases una noche felíz y felíz ano nuevo.

Thanx for your answer, Incredible:
BTW, first of all, off forum, I will tell you my experiences with ping-pong method (3 tries, 2 perfect, 1 bigger)
The scene is like a TV broadcast, and is happening a change of scene in the broadcast, I suppose this means a fast action. If you tell me how, I'll post a screen capture.
What can I do to sort the problem?. I wouldn't like to have to trim the film.
And, what about merging the two .m2v files now that I encoded them?, how to?. Nevertheless, I wouldn't mind to reencode the whole film again.
Feliz Navidad amigo, wait for your advice.[/IMG]

Sorry me for being so impatient and not waiting calmly for an answer...
I described above the error CCE gave me, nobody else has got this error ever?. How can I solve it?.
As I posted, I resumed encoding from frame #25405, and finished with no problem, and then merged files. But I would like to reencode the hole movie without getting this error. What am I supposed to change in CCE parameters?.
Thanx

Perdón amigo ..
but I never had this Problem when using CCE, so I can't help you and as nobody else could solve the problem in here up to now, you should ask at forum.doom9.org as maybe there some CCE cracks are waiting for you

Felíz ano nuevo!
