Is there any way to repair a damaged .mpg file?

I recovered some scratched VCD, and would like to recheck the whole file before burning it again so as to avoid DVD freezes.

Any help will be welcomed.

Try vcdgear, it is freeware and has a feature to fix MPEG errors.
