I've just made a kvcd and want 2 audio tracks on it.
I've created one at a standard SVCD spec which muxed with 2nd audio no problem, but the video quality was terrible.

I decieded to try making it a KVCD at standard VCD spec (352x28 but when trying to mux 2nd audio track, bbmpeg would only mux the first audio track and have nothing to do with the 2nd.

Do I NEED to have SVCD spec to have 2 audio tracks or am I doing something wrong?

Yes you do
Tip: To maintain your MPEG-1 quality, go ahead and encode MPEG-1, but MUX as SVCD. Then you can add your second audio track, and then burn as SVCD
