We encode video with the best (so far) video encoder out there for output in MPEG1 or MPEG2.
It is obvious that we would choose the best encoder out there for MPEG2 output also, right?
And since TMPGEnc is poor for encoding audio we strongly advise you to use either HeadAC3he or BeSweet.
After encoding audio and video, mux them with the best muxer out there that is bbMpeg or maybe mplex that is based on bbMpeg.
As you can see we are only working with the best products in order to produce the best backups
