For some reason, even though source is 23.97/29.97 my output file is encoded at 25 fps (actual final output file fps-not speed of encode)

I have found in the registry in the gnu/ffdshow_enc
a key: fpsOverride1000=dword:000061a8(25000)
and: fpsOverride1000=dword:000061a8(25000)

I remove these, and they combeback, so I select "don't save settings to registry" but still output.m2v is 25fps
I have tried older builds and it is still happening.
I have tried to uninstall/clean out reg/reinstall, etc.

It only happens on the "mpeg2" encoder. Using the "mpeg2enc mpeg2" i can set the frame rate output and it works but I can't set can't set a custom matrix, much slower, some quality settings not there.
TIA

Try to corect the encoded file with restream. ffdshow has some troubles putting the right flags. I didn't encounter your problem because I live in a PAL country but I got problems with AR, with some version when I put 4:3 resulted in 16:9. But nothing that couldn't be solved with restream (I use it on every encoding anyway to corect bitrate and time stamps). So untill ffdshow gets more polished - restream is the cure.
bye

I'm glad it worked
But come on, is not "my" fix, it's pretty much common knowledge...

Yes well I am always happy to pick up on "common knowledge"
What do you think of that situation were the "fps overide" box is greyed out, with the 25 shaded and unchangeable.
Is it like that on your encoder?
Any one else using ffvfw, do they have that?
(if so please post)
